Chinmay J. Mirji

Founder of Mirji & Co, Chinmay J. Mirji, Chinmay has been a member of the Bar since the year 2005. He started his career in legal services working with Infosys Technologies Limited after which he developed his independent practice that was merged with Siddharth B Muchandi and Chennai’s Atman Law to Atman Law Partners, Bangalore. He later joined HSA Advocates as a partner and exited the firm in 2020 to establish Mirji & Co.

Chinmay’s primary focus has been Commercial related disputes, contract law, civil law, real estate and infrastructure, white collar and general criminal law in his litigation and dispute resolution practice. Chinmay has appeared and presented arguments in a number of forums and courts throughout India, including the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, the National Company Law Tribunal, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, and several High courts. In addition, Chinmay has provided guidance and support to numerous domestic and international businesses undertaking internal investigations, compliance checks and has been instrumental in investigations led by Bangalore’s City Crime Branch.

Chinmay had been appointed as Government Counsel in the year 2015 and had represented the Central Government on issues confined from criminal revisions and appeals to tax related matters before the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore.

Chinmay also regularly advises clients with respect of general corporate matters, transactional matters and extensively provides regulatory advisory. He has worked across a broad range of sectors including information technology, manufacturing, finance and real estate. In 2015, Chinmay was appointed as Government Counsel and had represented the Central Government on a multitude of issues, ranging from criminal revisions and appeals to tax related matters before the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore.
